My friend was found – stabbed in his room!

despite of my fear to hear his prophecy!
Suddenly that was the truth that I found –
It had been him – the night assassin.

that? What is that?! Mysterious power gives
impulse to act! Who feeds him? Who owns
him? Through grey turbid glass I saw
The silhouette of the insane doctor –
Sovereign Of Somnambulist!
Within these walls, within these walls
They say they’ll heal me from that all,
I want to scream, I think and judge,
My Doctor says: “You know too much!”
He heals me! He owns me!
Through drug turbid fog I see
The silhouette of the insane doctor –
Sovereign of Somnambulist!
He thinks he’s mighty,
Imbued with Caligari’s ideas
If you just knew, dear Doctor Caligari,
What your followers would do!
My hands are tied! Gag in my mouth
I know I’m sane, why do they say
